TEACHER’S PRAYER

O God, source of life and strength,
Bless us this day as we go to teach.
Bless all our students and their efforts.
Bless their parents and our school.

We thank you for our students
In whose company joys and doubted
And sorrows are lessened.
And weakness changed into strength.

We thank you for our teaching skills
And the fulfillment we find in teaching
We thank you for helping us to shape
The future of the world.

Help us to be cheerful today
Kind and loving to our students
That they may become honest citizens
And find happiness in their life, Amen.

PRAYER BEFORE CLASS

Direct we beseech you O Lord, our actions and further them by your gracious help, so that every prayer and work of ours may always begin from you and through you be happily ended. - Amen.

Our Father, who art in heaven hallowed be thy Name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen

PRAYER AT THE END OF THE CLASS

O GOD, the source of all knowledge, grant that we may remember what we have learnt. We offer you our work and endeavours, our failures and successes. Forgive us our shortcomings, and give us the courage to follow always the path of truth.
